TCC, the compliance consultancy that has contributed often to our web-pages, has appointed Olivia Fahy, a 'culture' specialist who worked at the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, to lead the charge as its Head of Culture.

Olivia Fahy will help connect business culture and compliance, concentrating on environmental, social and governance-related (ESG) matters as well as diversity, equity and inclusion, or DE&I as it is commonly known, for some of the most high-profile financial institutions in the UK.

At the FCA Fahy worked in the culture team (within the supervision department) for five years, during which time she developed and led the FCA’s Transforming Culture initiative. Here she worked directly with the industry, helping to solve the practical problems that firms face when assessing and transforming culture. She also organised activities such as CultureSprints, webinars, roundtables and the publication of the FCA’s 'Transforming Culture' discussion papers.

Addressing the challenge of culture and transformation head-on, TCC Group recently launched its new 'Hemisphere proposition,' a culture analysis IT platform. Designed to help financial services businesses improve their culture, Hemisphere automatically collates and analyses multiple datasets, giving business leaders access to real-time intelligence about culture - TCC says that it does this on a wider scale than ever before.
