Global Financial Advisor Hooks Up With Insurer To Expand Offering To HNW Clients

London-headquartered Howden Insurance Brokers has entered a partnership with financial advisory firm deVere Group in a high net worth insurance deal. The deal gives Howden access to deVere’s 80,000 clients worldwide. According to its website, deVere Group has over $10 billion of assets under administration. DeVere Group focuses much of its activity on expat Britons across the world, such as in the Asia-Pacific region, among others. In late October 2014, it expanded into the Australia market by opening a new office in the country. It will open an office in Melbourne. In the Howden partnership case, Mike Coady, director at deVere, as saying that the partnership gives deVere director access to specialist insurance services. “This new alliance will be built on a robust collaboration that draws on the distinct strengths of each company. It will provide clients from deVere Group, who currently have more than $10bn under advice and management, with direct access to a comprehensive range of high-end, specialist insurance services. It will also allow Howden to further enhance its already impressive international reach by giving the company an additional platform on which to offer its world-class insurances. DeVere Group and Howden Insurance Brokers’ shared vision for this partnership is driven by the synergy between the two brands. Both are dynamic, truly independent and ambitious, the overarching laser-like focus of both companies is to enhance clients’ lives by offering security and peace of mind, and both have a large international footprint," he added.
