Wealth management firm has appointed Bryan Parkinson as managing director for Rowan Dartington Intermediaries (formally Rowan Dartington Signature) and international.

He joined Rowan Dartington from Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in December 2016 as regional director for the north.

In this newly created role, he will be responsible for facilitating the next stage of expansion for Rowan Dartington’s intermediary and international offerings, and developing the firm’s discretionary fund management proposition.

Fulcrum Asset Management
has appointed Philipp Kauer as a quantitative portfolio manager in its newly-renamed Schroders Systematic Investments (SSI).

He will report into Ashley Lester, head of multi-asset research and systematic investments.

Kauer, who has over 23 years of quantitative investment experience, joins from Man AHL, where he was a portfolio manager and senior quantitative researcher. He has also worked at Salomon Brothers, Credit Suisse and Brevan Howard.
