, the parent of Brown Shipley, has appointed Warren Hastings as group co-head of investment and head of portfolio management. Hastings, a British national, is now based in Luxembourg.

Prior to this, Hastings (pictured) was at Credit Suisse for 12 years, first in Asia and then for the previous five years in Zurich, the firm said in a statement. He was most recently head of investment management, international locations, at that firm.

After beginning his career at Schroders as a pan-Asian equity fund manager in London and Singapore, he joined Standard Chartered, also in Singapore, as head of portfolio management, the firm continued.

At Quintet, Hastings will lead the firm’s portfolio management team, which includes sustainable investing. He will also co-head Quintet’s investment function with group chief investment officer Daniele Antonucci.

The move follows the recent appointment of Anna Zakrzewski as group chief operating officer and member of the authorised management committee. Zakrzewski joined Quintet in Luxembourg with immediate effect, working with outgoing Quintet Group COO Eli Leenaars during a transition period. Leenaars is retiring from Quintet at the end of this year, following a career spanning nearly four decades in executive roles.
