, a financial services business, has appointed John Papesh as a new managing director of its Apex Invest business, based in Abu Dhabi. Apex Invest is the rebranded technology platform, conference and events series of Context365. It connects fund managers, allocators and service providers.

Papesh has 30 years of capital markets and investment management experience specialising in business development, distribution and global fundraising. Before joining Apex, he was the founder and CEO of his own capital raising and advisory group.

Apex Group, which was set up in Bermuda in 2003, has more than 13,000 employees worldwide.
