Julius Baer International, the UK-based wealth manager which is part of the group, has appointed Stefano Lupi as head of UK cross-assets markets, a new role for the firm. It has also added three relationship managers.

Lupi will identify a strategy to build and broaden the firm’s markets offering for UHNW advisory clients, working in conjunction with the markets team in Zurich, Julius Baer said in a statement.

Bringing more than 35 years of experience to the role, Lupi previously worked at Pictet in London where he was in charge of global market trading. He also held senior positions at Pictet in Geneva and Singapore.

The three RMs joining Julius Baer International are:

Richard Griffiths (previously at RBC Wealth Management); Asad Zaidi (previously at Alti Tiedemann Global), and Utpal Garware (formerly of Citibank).

Griffiths works in the London office, focused on serving UK based business owners and entrepreneurs. Zaidi and Garware both work on the Middle East desk in London.
