Wellington Bolsters Sydney Office With New Investment Director

Wellington Management, the US-based investment advisory firm, has strengthened its Sydney office with a new investment director. Effective immediately, James Crawford takes up his new role, joining from AllianceBernstein where he was a senior portfolio manager. Crawford left his old job in April after over six years with the firm. Prior to that, he was head of strategy at IAG Asset Management. Wellington Management set up an office in Sydney in 1997 and specialises in relationship management, business development, portfolio management, client administration and compliance. The firm manages some $700 billion in assets worldwide. Its other offices in Asia are located in Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.
