More on Private Client Appointments at Macfarlanes

6 April 2005

Macfarlanes, the London-based law firm, has appointed Piers Barclay, Helen Darling and Sebastian Prichard Jones as partners in the firm’s private client practice. All the appointments were promotions from within Macfarlanes. Yesterday, WealthBriefing reported that Jonathan Conder is to replace John Rhodes as head of the private client team, although Mr Rhodes will continue to be a partner at the firm and is not retiring. Mr Barclay specialises in tax and estate planning for individuals and their families as well as related advice to trustees and other private client service providers. Ms Darling advises on general UK and international estate planning, and also specialises in UK immigration and nationality law. Mr Prichard Jones specialises in international trust and tax issues, and advises clients caught up in serious tax investigations.
