Acquired UK Financial Services Firm Adopts Parent's Name

The Rees Pollock name of the original firm will fall out of use as part of its absorption into the Blick Rothenberg business.

UK-based Rees Pollock, a business founded in 1990, has become the financial services team at tax and advisory firm Blick Rothenberg. The Rees Pollock name will no longer be used.

Rees Pollock joined Blick Rothenberg in 2019.

“Rees Pollock was set up in 1990 and soon carved out a niche for itself in the hedge fund industry and with other financial services clients who were looking for a firm combining technical excellence with a personal, partner-led service,” Phil Vipond, head of financial services at Blick Rothenberg said.

“Rees Pollock was recognised as the leading auditor outside the ‘Big 4’ for the financial services sector and grew to have over 60 fee earners, acting for around 200 regulated clients and has trained dozens of graduates, many of whom continue work in the industry today,” Vipond said.
