Arbuthnot Latham Brings In Ex-Coutts Figure As New Private Banking Director

The new director of private banking – previously at Coutts – has more than 34 years’ experience within the industry specialising within the UK entrepreneur market across a broad range of sectors.

UK-based private and commercial bank Arbuthnot Latham has appointed Miles Kean as a director of private banking.

Kean will be supporting individuals across a range of sectors offering “high-touch,” relationship-based banking, the firm said in a statement.

Kean, who has more than 34 years’ experience within the industry specialising within the UK entrepreneur market across a broad range of sectors, has a particular focus on property. He was previously an executive director, private banker within the London entrepreneurs client group of Coutts & Co, an area in which he contributed considerable growth. He worked at Coutts for 23 years.

“With his proven track record of empowering entrepreneurs and a deep understanding of their unique financial needs, he brings invaluable expertise to our team,” Helen Keen, head of UK private banking, said. “This strategic hire underscores our commitment to providing unparalleled service and tailored solutions to our clients as we support them on their journey.”

Arbuthnot Latham, established in 1833, is a London based private and commercial bank, which also specialises in wealth management and specialist commercial lending including asset-based lending, asset finance, and leases. The bank has regional offices in Manchester, Bristol and Exeter.
