Arbuthnot Latham Names New Entrepreneurs Head
The firm said it is committed to acquiring and keeping talent in its private banking arm.
Arbuthnot Latham, the UK private and commercial bank, this week expanded its offering to entrepreneurs by hiring John Hilson as head of entrepreneurs, private banking.
Hilson (pictured), who has worked alongside entrepreneurs since 2002, joins from another UK private bank, Hampden & Co, where he was a business development director and built strategic partnerships with private client advisors.
“John’s appointment is further demonstration of our commitment to talent acquisition and retention within private banking at Arbuthnot Latham, and we are delighted to have someone with his experience and expertise to head up the entrepreneurs’ division of the bank to further our offering in that client segment," Helen Keen, head of UK private banking, said.
Last year, the bank aligned its business units to client segments such as including entrepreneurs, as well as executives and professionals, international, commercial banking, real estate, and media (private and commercial). Hilson’s appointment is, Arbuthnot Latham said, a key part of that transformation. It also follows on from the appointment of Keen earlier this year. See here.
