CNBC, Manulife Team Up To Launch TV Series On Aging In Asia

CNBC, the Asian news channel, has partnered with Manulife Asset Management to launch a six-part television series that focuses on Asia's aging population and its investment choices.

The programme, titled "Aging in Asia," will be aired on Mondays starting 23 September on CNBC shows "Squawk Box Asia" and "Cash Flow." Over six weeks, the series will focus on the changing demographics in Asia, its impact on investments and how people should start saving on retirement.

"These tectonic demographic shifts in Asian countries will have a dramatic impact on their local economies, regional dynamics and the global marketplace. We are excited to chronicle these changes and analyse the effects for our audience," said Michael Kearns, head of news and programming for CNBC Asia-Pacific.

The feature will air across the channel's Asia-Pacific network and will be supported by a special report online.
