Union Bancaire Privée, the Geneva-headquartered private banking group, has joined the Wecan Group network and the Blockchain Association for Finance.

The bank’s move means that independent wealth managers collaborating with UBP can carry out periodic reviews, secure exchanges, and streamline their onboarding processes.

“We have been involved with Wecan Comply since its inception and are delighted to now join the Wecan Group network to offer independent wealth managers a truly cutting-edge technological solution,” Frédéric Toselli, global head of external asset managers at UBP, said. 

The collaboration comes after Arab Bank (Switzerland) said it was joining Wecan’s network. Wecan said it expects more collaboration announcements in coming months.
