Digital Digest: The Latest Wealth Technology News – Avaloq, ZKB

The latest technology news in the wealth management sector from around the world.

Avaloq, the Switzerland-based banking and wealth technology business, has integrated its digital asset platform at Zürcher Kantonalbank, working alongside Fireblocks, a digital assets infrastructure firm.

The platform, which enables digital asset trading, settlement and custody, was deployed by Avaloq on the cloud and is run in a software as a service (SaaS) model.

“As the market environment and client expectations continue to evolve, it is vital that traditional financial institutions have the right strategy and technology in place to seamlessly integrate digital assets into their existing range of services,” Georges Roten, managing director for Switzerland and Liechtenstein at Avaloq, said.

Avaloq is a subsidiary of Japan’s NEC.
