European WealthTech Inks Belgian Deal With Major Lender

The organisation has recently been through a rebranding exercise and its efforts won it a European award from this news service.

Belgium-based wealth technology firm Abbove – formerly known as PaxFamilia – is partnering with Deutsche Bank in the country, just a month after the firm said it was making its wealth platform available to banks across Europe.

Starting in July 2022, the German lender’s private bankers will use Abbove’s wealth planning platform to offer their clients a range of services, it said in a statement yesterday.

“Deutsche Bank wants to continue to strengthen its position with private banking clients by meeting their needs in a relevant and comprehensive manner. With this partnership, we ensure that our local estate planning experts and our clients will have access to what is probably the best wealth planning platform in the country, in addition to the global CIO expertise of Deutsche Bank.” Olivier Delfosse, CEO of Deutsche Bank in Belgium, said.

Deutsche’s clients can collect important documents in a digital safe, create a structured inventory of their assets and gifts, have access to an organisational chart of their family’s wealth, simulate the evolution of their wealth in time and estimate their inheritance tax with the help of their estate planners, the firm said.

Earlier this year, Abbove won a Wealthbriefing Award for best wealthtech provider in client communication.
