Five Board Members Appointed At IOMA Group

IOMA Group has set up a few more chairs in its boardroom as five new members have been named with immediate effect.

IOMA Group has set up a few more chairs in its boardroom as five new members have been named with immediate effect.

New group non-executive directors come in the shape of Rupert Cottrell and Ken Watterson, who will sit on the risk, audit and remuneration committees.

Philip Scales has been promoted to group chief executive; Chris Kenning has been named as group chief financial officer. Ian Jackson becomes group actuary, and Julie Haslett rounds up the appointments as group head of compliance.

The expansion in the boardroom mirrors IOMA Group’s aims to expand their business into becoming “the service provider of choice to the insurance and wealth management industries,” Scales said in a statement.

The new board members join Robin Bigland and Colin Bowen, group chairman and group deputy chairman respectively, on the board.

Bigland formed the Isle of Man-headquartered IOMA Group 36 years ago. It is a specialist provider of services to the insurance and wealth management industries.
