International Financial Data Services, the international transfer agency joint venture between State Street Corporation and DST Systems, has promoted Simon Hudson-Lund to chief executive officer from chief operating officer. Mr Hudson-Lund joined IFDS as managing director in 2003, becoming COO in 2005 and since then has managed the day-to-day IFDS business. Prior to joining IFDS he spent five years at Legal & General, where he was managing director responsible for providing unit trust administration services to one of the largest fund managers in the UK.
