Mirabaud Asset Management Makes Double Appointment To European Equity Team
The asset management arm of Switzerland's Mirabaud has appointed Ken Nicholson and Trevor Fitzgerald as European small and mid-cap managers.
Mirabaud Asset Management has hired Ken Nicholson from Standard Life Investments to manage European small- and mid-cap equity portfolios.
Nicholson previously served as SLI's investment director for smaller companies before going on to manage the European smaller companies fund between 2007 and 2014.
Also joining him in the London-based team will be Trevor Fitzgerald, who previously led pan–European small- and mid-cap equity sales at Credit Suisse.
“Mirabaud is delighted to have attracted Ken and Trevor to join the firm. They are well regarded in the market and will be an excellent addition to the existing stable of talent we have built over the past few years,” said the firm's head of sales and marketing for the UK and Northern Europe, Paul Boughton.
The asset manager's latest addition to the London team follows this month's appointment of James Southern as sales director in the UK.
Mirabaud Asset Management has offices in Paris, London, Montreal, Barcelona, Zurich and Geneva and looks after SFr 8.5 billion ($9.03 billion) of assets.
