Natixis IM Affiliate Investment House Appoints A New Chief
The Ostrum business is part of the network of fund management firms that are linked to Paris/Boston-headquartered Natixis (in turn part of France's BPCE).
Ostrum Asset Management, an affiliate firm of Natixis
Investment Managers, has appointed a new CEO, Olivier Houix,
to take over from Philippe Setbon, who becomes CEO of Natixis IM
and is in charge of asset and wealth management for Groupe
BPCE.
Olivier Houix will report directly to Philippe Setbon.
(Natixis IM is part of the global financial services group of
France’s Groupe BPCE.)
Houix began his career in 1997 in the general inspection
department of Banque Indosuez. He joined Groupe BPCE in 2001.
After holding various positions at Natixis, then in the strategy
department of Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne, he moved to
the asset management division in 2005.
In 2019, Houix became head of internal audit at Natixis
Investment Managers. He was appointed chief sustainability
officer of Groupe BPCE's global businesses in September 2022
(Natixis CIB, Natixis IM).
Natixis, with headquarters in Paris and Boston, has more than
$1.1 trillion of assets under management.
