Pinebridge Investments Names APAC, EMEA Intermediary Distribution Head
The newly-appointed figure has worked in the intermediary distribution segment for more than two decades, operating in Europe and Asia.

Investments, the asset management house, has named Nicolas
Kopitsis (pictured) as head of intermediary distribution for
Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective 1
January.
Kopitsis, who is based in Singapore, will oversee the firm’s
intermediary business strategy and distribution of the firm's
investment products and capabilities to private banks, family
offices, retail banks, insurers, and distribution platforms. He
has a particular focus on the UK, Switzerland, and certain Asian
markets.
Joining the firm in 2021 as Asia wealth management head, based in
Singapore, Kopitsis was previously head of intermediary
distribution, Asia ex-Japan, at BNY Mellon. He has worked in the
intermediary segment for more than 20 years in Asia and
Europe.
"Over the past five years we have witnessed a 50 per cent
increase of our AuM, reaching over $150 billion in assets under
management last year,” Sergio Ramirez, chief revenue officer, and
head of the global client group, said.
