Rowan Dartington Establishes Presence In Scotland
The UK wealth manager has expanded its footprint with a new recruit.
Rowan Dartington is expanding into Scotland with the appointment of Peter Roper as an investment manager in Edinburgh.
Roper joins from Tilney Bestinvest, where he spent five years as director and investment manager. In his new position Roper will serve private clients in the region, offering discretionary fund management services to SJP Partners.
“When expanding geographically, it is essential to bring people with an in-depth knowledge of the region and Peter’s proven track record advising local clients for more than 15 years will prove invaluable to the firm,” said Graham Coxell, Rowan Dartington’s executive chairman.
Rowan Dartington, which is responsible for over £1.5 billion ($1.9 billion) in client assets, has a branch network across England and the Isle of Man. The firm was acquired by St James's Place last year for £34 million.
