Saracen Hires Fund Specialist

The equity investment boutique will boost its client communication capabilities with the new addition.

Edinburgh-based Saracen Fund Managers has hired Megan Heather-Cooley in the newly created role of fund specialist.

Heather-Cooley will work with the managers of Saracen’s existing funds – TB Saracen UK Alpha, TB Saracen Global Income & Growth and TB Saracen UK Income – to boost the information provided on portfolio changes and investment strategy.

She is in the final stages of completing a PhD at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. She will join the firm in August where she will incorporate new media, in addition to existing forms of communication, to better inform clients.

“While we are committed to ensuring our fund managers are available to regularly meet with our clients and answer any questions they may have, the new fund specialist role will enhance the level and quality of communication we provide,” said Graham Campbell, chief executive of Saracen.
