UK's LGT Wealth Management Names 11 New Partners
The firm has been through a series of changes, including its acquisition of a discretionary fund management business in the UK and Jersey.
LGT Wealth Management, a UK firm, yesterday announced 11 new partners:
-- Brendan Macken, business development director;
-- David Sullivan, investment manager (IM);
-- Anthony Emmings, IM;
-- Marco Evans, IM;
-- Craig Joiner, IM;
-- Kevin Bowhay, IM;
-- Charlie Thompson, IM;
-- Richard Harrison, IM;
-- Lewis Mackinnon, IM;
-- Toby Willis, IM; and
-- Gair Brisbane, head of charities – Scotland.
The headcount at LGT has increased, partly as a result of its
acquisition in 2023 of abrdn’s discretionary fund management
business in the UK and Jersey, raising the number of people by
134 to 650. The firm’s AuM rose by £6 billion ($7.39 billion) to
more than £28 billion. The firm also added new offices in
Birmingham and Leeds, to complement planned growth in existing
locations in London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Jersey. LGT Wealth
Management also opened an office in Manchester in March last
year.
LGT Wealth Management is part of LGT Group, the private banking
and asset management group that has been fully controlled by the
Liechtenstein Princely Family for over 90 years.
