UK law firm Burges Salmon has promoted Suzanna Harvey as a partner, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 79.

Harvey, a specialist in international tax and trusts work, joins Beatrice Puoti and John Barnett as the third partner in the firm’s international tax and trusts team, providing trust advice to international trust companies and individuals, including drafting trust documentation, advising on general trust law issues and advising on policy documentation.

Harvey is the third lawyer to be promoted to partner within the private client and wealth structuring team in the last 12 months. Family law specialist Sarah Woodsford and Jim Aveline, a specialist in tax, estate and succession planning, were both promoted last year.

Alongside Harvey, James Phillips and Nick Churchward have been promoted from the firm's energy and environment team.

Burges Salmon currently has more than 600 employees.
