UK-headquartered law firm Penningtons Manches, which undertakes work including in the private client sphere, has opened an office in San Francisco, tapping into its network of clients and contacts in that area of California.

Led by partners James Klein (corporate and technology) and Hamish Corner (intellectual property and information technology), the team provides English law advice on corporate, commercial, intellectual property, immigration and employment matters for US businesses undertaking corporate activity in the UK or Europe - particularly those with a technology focus.

The new office will also provide a platform for the firm’s family and international private wealth teams who work with family and private client lawyers throughout the US and have a recognised expertise in Anglo/North America work.
