UK Wealth Platform Ardan Names New CEO

Ardan International, the global open architecture wealth platform, has named Richard Preston as its chief executive.

UK-based wealth platform Ardan International has appointed Richard Preston as its new chief executive.

Preston brings with him over 30 years' experience in financial services, including a position as board director at wealth platform Cofunds.

Ardian was formerly known as Acordias before rebranding following its acquisition by wealth manager Rowan Dartington in December.

“We have found in Richard a great fit for the Ardan team and an excellent CEO to lead the growth of the platform,” said Ardan International chairman and Rowan Dartington's managing director of investment services, Trevor Cheal, in a statement.

“Richard’s proven experience and success in developing client relationships in offshore markets will be an invaluable asset to the business, and we very much look forward to working with Richard to build the business and its reputation amongst the international adviser community.”

The Isle of Man-based global wealth platform provides a range of services for international advisors, including dealing, settlement, custody and client administration.
