Walker Crips Appoints Non-Executive Director

The UK investment and wealth manager has made a board appointment ahead of a departure later this year.

Walker Crips has named Clive Bouch as non-executive director to the board, with effect from 31 March.

Bouch will also join the remuneration committee and nominations committee, as well as chair the audit committee, after a brief handover period.

He is currently a non-executive director of the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Associations and chairs the audit committees at Invesco UK and Towergate Insurance. Earlier, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, specialising in financial services.

"Having previously held roles as both an auditor and adviser, the experience which Clive brings to the board of Walker Crips will be invaluable and makes him an ideal candidate to take over from Robert Elliott when he retires from the board later in the year,” said David Gelber, chairman of the firm.
