Wellington Management Tight-Lipped About Report Of Senior Hire From Julius Baer

This publication carries latest news of moves and appointments in the wealth management sector.

International investment firm Wellington Management was keeping tight-lipped on media reports that a former senior manager from Swiss private bank Julius Baer has joined the business.

A report said that Oliver Schneider, who held the role of executive director, head of investment specialist funds at Julius Baer, Zurich, had moved to Wellington. His LinkedIn profile had not been updated to show the new role.

A report by Citywire said Schneider stepped down from the Zurich-listed bank at the end of last year; his profile showed he had worked at the bank for around six years. The report added that Julius Baer declined to comment.

"We do not speak to the press about personnel matters so we will not be responding to your inquiry," a spokesperson for Wellington told this news service.
