The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.

Maven Capital Partners
Maven Capital Partners, a manager in the Venture Capital Trust (VCT) sector, has just launched a £40 million ($53.6 million) joint share offers across its VCTs. Investors can benefit from up to 30 per cent of initial tax relief, tax-free dividends, and exemption from capital gains tax, while participating in the investment returns of large, highly diversified VCT portfolios of ambitious, high growth businesses operating across the UK.

The Maven VCTs have a track record of positive shareholder returns, with three of the VCTs reporting further net asset value (NAV) increases on 31 August, representing rises of between 3.05 per cent and 5.55 per cent since their previously-announced results, which resulted from a period of exit activity, the firm continued. Each VCT, which pays two tax-free dividends each year, has recently enhanced its dividend policy to target an annual dividend of 6 per cent of NAV per share, reflecting Maven’s track record of shareholder dividends' profit.

“Maven’s VCTs are well positioned to capitalise on new investments and continue their portfolio expansion. These new offers will allow investors to participate in the growth of some of the most innovative and high-potential businesses across the UK, while taking advantage of the attractive tax incentives available through VCTs,” Ewan MacKinnon, investment partner at Maven, said.
