Multrees Investor Services
Multrees Investor Services, a provider of outsourced platform, investment administration and custody services, this week appointed Magnus Carlsson to join its board as a non-executive director.

Carlsson has held numerous senior positions at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken since joining the group in 1993, including head of project and structured finance and head of corporate clients, the firm said in a statement.

Most recently he was deputy president and CEO and has been a member of SEB’s executive committee since 2004, the firm added.

Welcoming him to the firm, Multrees CEO Chris Fisher said: “As someone with deep knowledge and decades of experience in corporate and retail financial services, including the business of global custody, he is a significant asset to Multrees and its growth ambitions.”

Non-executive director Magnus Carlsson added: “I am delighted to have joined the board of Multrees as the business scales up and executes its ambitious plans for growth.”

Multrees said it has seen rapid growth with assets under administration up 50 per cent over the past two years. The business posted a record quarter for both gross and net inflows in Q2 of almost £2 billion ($2.3 billion).

In its current growth phase, Multrees said it has been shoring up its strength with various new senior appointments as it executes its business development strategy.
