Quilter Investors
Quilter
Investors has expanded its manager research team,
appointing Adrian Todd as a senior manager research analyst.
He will report to Kristian Cassar, head of manager research at
Quilter Investors.
Todd will be responsible for researching and analysing funds and investment trusts in the alternative investment space. This will range from hedge funds to private markets and infrastructure, as well as many other sectors. The funds researched will be considered for inclusion within Quilter Investors’ range of multi-asset portfolios.
Before Quilter, Todd was a senior research director at Investec Wealth & Investment in its fund research team where he led on alternatives funds, as well as active equity funds. Prior to Investec, Todd worked at Coutts, initially in discretionary portfolio management, before moving on to fund research, where he covered a range of third-party strategies across asset classes and fund structure.
“Adrian brings valuable experience within alternatives, which will be a real benefit for the team and advisors we work with,” Kristian Cassar, head of manager research at Quilter Investors, said.
AXA Investment Managers
AXA
Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Nicolas Deschamps
as global head of product and client strategy at AXA IM Core,
with immediate effect.
Based in Paris, Nicolas reports to Hans Stoter, global head of AXA IM Core and a member of the AXA IM’s management board, the firm said in a statement.
Deschamps joined AXA IM in 2005 as senior sales manager for wholesale clients. Since then, he has held various positions in the company as well as at AXA France, where he headed the development of the Life and Wealth Management business, and at AXA IM Select as global head of client group.
In his new role, Nicolas heads the product strategy and development for core investments, the global marketing and the investment specialists team. The AXA IM Investment Institute also falls within his remit.
Jane Wadia has been appointed head of sustainability, core products and clients and will be responsible for leading AXA IM Core’s sustainable product strategy and external representation, with immediate effect. Based in London, Wadia reports to Nicolas Deschamps.
In this newly-created role, Wadia engages with clients on sustainability topics and works with teams across AXA IM to ensure that AXA IM Core’s investment capabilities reflect clients responsible investment’s (RI) needs. Wadia is also responsible for defining the RI product framework and is a key stakeholder in shaping the overall RI priorities for the AXA IM Core business.
“Nicolas’s deep experience in product strategy as well as in marketing and distribution over all client segments will help us develop an attractive and innovative product range that is highly relevant for our clients,” Stoter said. “With her extensive experience in asset management across all core asset classes, Jane is bringing a deep understanding of our clients' needs, especially on RI.”
Leumi UK
Specialist lender Leumi UK, the London-based subsidiary of the
international Leumi
Group, has hired Oliver Stenning to join the property finance
team as a relationship director.
Prior to Leumi UK, Stenning was head of acquisitions at residential investment firm IMMO Capital. Previously, he was a vice president in the commercial real estate team at investment bank Morgan Stanley. Before that, he served in a variety of roles at NatWest/Royal Bank of Scotland.
Stenning's wealth of expertise in the real estate market will be integral to the Leumi UK property finance team’s continued growth in core focus areas such as the living sector – as well as in commercial property and alternative real estate sectors, the firm said in a statement.
“Oliver’s extensive experience in the real estate finance market will suit our property finance team’s sector-agnostic, case-by-case approach well,” Peter Clayton, head of property finance at Leumi UK, said.
