The latest moves in wealth management from across Europe and the Middle East.
Blick Rothenberg
Accountancy, tax and advisory firm Blick Rothenberg
has appointed Sean Randall, as the stamp duty [tax]
specialist.
Randall will advise corporate and professional clients, and
individuals, on stamp duty in areas including real estate,
M&A and other corporate transactions. He has almost 20
years of specialist experience, the last five of which involved
rebuilding and running a stamp duty team at a Big Four firm. Also
joining Sean as a partner in the property team will be Heather
Powell, partner at Kingston Smith, at a date to be confirmed.
These two individuals join James Pilbeam, who has also joined the
firm as a tax partner, specialising in advising owner-managed
businesses on their business and personal affairs.

Wealth manager Tilney has appointed Nadia
Atanasov as an associate financial planner in further expansion
of its Edinburgh office.
“This is the latest in a series of hires in Scotland as we continue to strengthen our presence in the country. Being able to attract candidates of such a high calibre will aid us in giving our clients the highest possible service,” Paul Frame, head of the Scotland and Northern Ireland regions for Tilney, said.
Atanasov joins from Chiene & Tait Financial Planning where she spent two years as a paraplanner, providing technical support. Prior to that, she was a paraplanner at Grant Thornton’s Belfast office.
Aviva Investors
Global asset manager Aviva Investors has
named Stephanie Niven as a manager to its Global Equity Endurance
Fund. She will work alongside Giles Parkinson, who has manged the
fund since it launched in November 2016.
Niven joined Aviva as a portfolio manager in the Global Equities team in October 2018, after six years at Tesco Pension Investment. Before that, she worked at Javelin Capital and Goldman Sachs. She reports to head of global equities. Mikhail Zverev.
Amundi
Amundi, the European
asset management house, has appointed Richard Deutsch as head of
credit research, fixed income. He joins from HSBC Global Asset
Management where he was global head of credit research (2010 to
2018).
Deutsch previously ran credit research and the credit trading
desk analytical units at BNP Paribas CIB in London (1999 to
2008). He had previously been European head of the high yield and
investment grade fixed income research at Merrill Lynch
(1994-1999). He began his career at Bank of America in 1989 as a
leveraged loan credit officer.
