Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Cazenove Capital, KKR

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes among wealth management and related organisations in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and select international locations.The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.

Cazenove Capital, the wealth management arm of Schroders, has appointed Paul Andrew, who is joining as wealth planning director for clients in the North of England.

Based in the Manchester office, Andrew will work with Simon Pearson, regional head for the North of England. Andrew will be responsible for managing the wealth planning requirements of high net worth individuals, families, and professional advisors. This appointment reinforces Cazenove Capital's commitment to delivering services to its expanding client base in the North of England. He will also be working with the firm's wealth planning team in London, which has recently expanded in response to client demand.  

Andrew, who is a Chartered Financial Planner, has over 15 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management. For the past seven years, he has worked as a wealth planner at Brown Shipley, where he provided financial planning advice to individuals and their families. Prior to this, he worked at C Hoare & Co, the UK’s oldest privately owned bank. Andrew has experience in all areas of financial planning, including tax-efficient investing, retirement planning, financial protection and estate planning.

KKR
Global investment firm KKR has appointed Georgia Rankin as executive advisor.

Rankin will work closely with KKR’s European private equity team to bring innovation and executive talent management to the firm’s portfolio companies and future prospective investments, the firm said in a statement. She will forge long-term relationships with CEOs and senior executives, helping to strengthen KKR’s capabilities as a “trusted strategic partner” to leadership teams and supporting value creation across its European portfolio, the firm said. 

Rankin has more than two decades of experience in executive search and leadership advisory, having served as managing director and co-head of the Global Private Equity Practice at Russell Reynolds.

She has been actively involved with Level 20, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in the European private equity industry.

“Her expertise in identifying and nurturing leadership talent will greatly enhance our portfolio’s ability to access and develop world-class talent,” Mattia Caprioli, co-head of KKR EMEA and European Private Equity, said.
