Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Isio, Apex Group, Arbuthnot Latham

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

Arbuthnot Latham
Arbuthnot Latham, a UK private and commercial bank, has hired former Kleinwort Hambros senior figure Amit Modha as a director in its international banking team and head of Middle East.

Modha was a private banking director at UK-headquartered Kleinwort Hambros, where he managed a portfolio of globally-based ultra-high net worth clients mainly focusing on the Middle East and Turkey. Prior to this role, he worked at Julius Baer Middle East in Dubai, as well as Coutts and NatWest in the UK.

Isio
Isio, a UK investment consulting, wealth and pension advisory firm, has appointed Nick Manduca as a director in the private capital team.

Manduca will drive growth within Isio’s private capital division, serving the needs of families and their offices, the firm said in a statement. Manduca, who is an experienced private banker, previously worked at Société Générale Kleinwort Hambros, where he managed a team covering wealthy families and entrepreneurs, and at Citi as a private banker.

“His proven track record and leadership will be instrumental in furthering our commitment to delivering financial confidence through bespoke solutions,” Rob Agnew, partner and head of private capital at Isio, added.

Apex Group
Apex Group, a financial services business, has appointed John Papesh as a new managing director of its Apex Invest business, based in Abu Dhabi. Apex Invest is the rebranded technology platform, conference and events series of Context365. It connects fund managers, allocators and service providers.

Papesh has 30 years of capital markets and investment management experience specialising in business development, distribution and global fundraising. Before joining Apex, he was the founder and CEO of his own capital raising and advisory group.

Apex Group, which was set up in Bermuda in 2003, has more than 13,000 employees worldwide.
