RBC BlueBay Asset Management
RBC BlueBay Asset Management has appointed Saskia Bernhardt as head of financial institutions, Germany and Austria.

Based in Munich, Bernhardt will report to Viola Patock, head of Northern Europe, the firm said in a statement. She is joining from Lupus Alpha Asset Management, where she was a senior sales and relationship manager for wholesale investors. She previously worked as an executive director for third party distribution at Amundi Asset Management. Prior to this, she held different sales posts in Switzerland, covering the wholesale segment in the DACH region, the firm added.

“The financial institutions business is core to RBC BlueBay’s growth strategy, and the German and Austrian markets are critical for our success,” Patock said.

RBC BlueBay Asset Management, which represents RBC Global Asset Management outside North America, manages about $419 billion in assets. It has a presence in the UK, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
