Erik Thedéen is new DG of Finansinspektionen

The Swedish Government has appointed Erik Thedéen (pictured) as the new Director General of its all-in-one financial services regulator.
Thedéen is the former CEO of KPA Pension, the main pensions company for the local government sector in Sweden which manages the pensions of more than a million people, and worked previously at the Swedish Ministry of Finance, Nasdaq OMX (Stockholmsbörsen) and the Swedish National Debt Office. He began his new job on Wednesday 21st October. We wish him well.
