The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of the Abu Dhabi global market, which opened for business last September, has joined the International Organisation of Securities Commissions as an associate member.

The regulator is also now a member of the Presidents Committee and of the Africa Middle-East Regional Committee (AMERC) of IOSCO. It joined the International Association of Insurance Supervisors and the Basel Consultative Group of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision last month.
