Bates Wells Braithwaite has appointed a contributor to our web-pages, Gillian Roche-Saunders, as the partner in charge of its new financial regulation consultancy service.

Gillian's new division is to be known as BWB Compliance. She joins BWB from the compliance consultancy of Bovill where, after providing advice and support to firms all over the financial services sector, she augmented and built up a compliance consulting team dedicated to the venture finance industry, although readers of Compliance Matters will remember her for her articles on marketing to HNW clients and the merging roles of advisors and providers. She has an established reputation in the alternative finance, venture capital and FinTech industries. Prior to that, Gillian spent seven years leading compliance investigations at The Law Society. We wish her well.
