The Consulting Consortium, which claims to have doubled in size in 2015, has made two senior appointments to its board to support its next phase of growth.

Matt Hodey, formerly the director of risk and regulation at the British offices of Deloitte, the accountancy firm, has been appointed as director of strategy and markets. He has more than 17 years of experience in financial services risk and regulation and has worked at Barclays and Nationwide.

The firm has also appointed Andy Sutherland as managing director of advisory services. He comes from Huntswood, another compliance consultancy, where he was the director of regulatory consulting. By March of last year Huntswood, based in Reading, had taken part in ten 'section 166' exercises at various firms. Before being employed there, Sutherland spent four years at the accountancy firm of Ernst and Young (now EY) and also spent six years working as an independent contractor on various regulatory projects and past business reviews.

TCC's propaganda states that it has "achieved 100% growth in 2015."
