New cyber rules for Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's National Cybersecurity Authority has issued basic cybersecurity guidelines which apply not only to governmental agencies but to sizeable banks and other financial firms that own, operate, or host sensitive national infrastructures.
The authority, according to the Saudi Press Agency, refers to its guidelines as 'minimum standards' and hopes that they will bolster cyber-security in infrastructures, networks and systems.
The authority is the specialised agency for cyber-security in the Kingdom and intends to update its guidelines.
