Despite the title of the award, ACCPA actually operates in sub-Saharan Africa only. Osman Abudulai is the bank's chief compliance officer, who himself has received the title of AML professional of the year.
Honourable mentions went to Banco BNI of Angola, Bank of Ghana and FNB South Africa.
