A RegTech provider called Shield Financial Compliance and the data management firm of Trusted Data Solutions are forming an international partnership.
Trusted Data will represent Shield in the sales, services and deployment departments. Shield's CEO believes that his firm is obtaining "local presence, [a] close touch to customers and the level of support that the enterprises and financial firms that invest in our solutions expect and need.”
Trusted Data, for its part, sees itself as "a business enabler and problem-solver."
Shield has a "cross regulation compliance platform" for electronic communication trade and market data. It helps financial institutions capture and correlate data to meet the demands of regulators, reportedly without any bad effects on operational performance. The automated open platform (not a network of platforms) provides firms with "a 360 view on eComms and trades utilizing AI, NLP and Visualization capabilities." It purports to meet all the recordkeeping requirements of MiFID II, the UK's Money Laundering Regulations/US Bank Secrecy Act, the GDPR, MAR, Dodd-Frank and FINRA. It allows firms to customise things according to their needs.
