South Africa's Financial Sector Conduct Authority is warning the public not to do any financial business with Dynamite Investment Group.
The group is not authorised under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 2002 to render any financial advice and intermediary services. This company is operating in the Vaal area and is soliciting investments from people in the area and promising returns of 10% for a one-month investment and up to 40% for a twelve-month investment.
HNWs who have invested with Dynamite Investment Group have lost their funds without receiving any return on their investments. Acting in contravention of the FAIS Act in such a way is an offence which carries a fine not exceeding R10 million (US$680,400) or a period of imprisonment not exceeding 10 years.
The regulator is also warning people against the unauthorised Worldwide Investments, which "uses a WhatsApp group and takes money from the members of the public and promises to trade in forex and when it’s time to pay back they block you."
