TruClarity Wealth Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor that came into being in the Floridian town of Tampa last month, has hired Catherine Mustico as its chief compliance officer.

The new venture includes Darian Johnson, who serves as the chairman, Pamela Stross, the president and CEO, and Travis Johnson, a certified financial accountant who serves as the chief investment officer. As CCO, Catherine Mustico will handle compliance needs and regulatory requirements for advisors. She will also oversee internal policy and procedural initiatives for the firm. “Client-driven professional" seems to be the firm's favourite phrase, with an emphasis on "guiding advisors towards independence."

Before joining TruClarity, Mustico was the Chief Compliance Officer of the international broker-dealership of Elara Securities in New York, where she administered and maintained compliance initiatives. Her experience also includes work as an associate principal examiner at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), also in New York, where she was in charge of routine cycle examinations for the firms over which it held sway.
