Another software vendor is proffering sanctions-related data to investment/wealth management firms that use its platform.
Open:FactSet Marketplace is an online platform on which SIX Financial offers financial and other data. It contains 25 data feeds, including content from FactSet, a portfolio managment software provider, plus data from other firms that relates to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
The new service informs the user about entities and issued securities of people and organisions on governmental watchlists. It also identifies the regime that sanctions each one, drawing information from various international regulatory bodies. SIX says that this entails the monitoring of 7.5 million active instruments and 26,000 changes per week, including updates from regulators and changes in shareholdings, making the service one of the most comprehensive means of obeying sanctions and watchlists on the market.
