Chris Hamblin, Editor, London, 1 March 2020
Robert Half, the compliance recruitment giant which owns the compliance consultancy Protiviti, has published its 'Salary Guide 2020' which outlines its expectations for the compliance job market for the rest of the year.
Compliance teams are growing as businesses seek to protect themselves from regulatory risks. Compliance onboarding (49%) and risk management (35%) are two popular areas for temporary hiring, according to the chief financial officers whom Robert Half knows. To create a culture of compliance, firms are looking for people with strong personal skills and gravitas. The onset of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime has boosted salaries because of the added dangers that compliance people now face.
